Sarah Kelleher
Sarah is a high performance coach and strategic consultant supporting individuals, teams and
organisations to flourish by unlocking real & tangible performance in people. She is Director
of Client Strategy at Leading Edge, a performance coaching company specialising in
developing leadership, change that transforms and developing high performance in teams.
She is a qualified NLP Coach and Master NLP Practitioner with qualifications in Advanced
Coaching & Neuroscience, Mindfulness CBT and more recently as a LEGO® SERIOUS
PLAY® Facilitator. Sarah has over 15+ years’ experience in life and business coaching and has
worked as a mentor/coach developer for England Hockey, Swim England, Football Association
and other sporting bodies.
Sarah has been involved in high performance coaching at international level for over 10 years
with 6 years as Lead Coach, England Hockey U18 Girls. Additionally, Sarah is a premier league
co-coach for a top 4 women’s side. This coaching experience combined with her senior
international playing career, spanning 10 years and as Irish Captain, provides her with an indepth
understanding of what it takes to achieve and be your best under pressure.
Sarah recently took part in UK Sport’s leader programme for top coaches in their drive to more
than double the representation of female coaches in the Olympic and Paralympic highperformance
community by Paris 2024.
In addition to her coaching roles, Sarah has worked as a strategic consultant in innovation,
business & brand strategy, specialising in the power of storytelling & cultural understanding to
engage, change behaviour and solve real business problems. In her 20+ years working in the
industry, Sarah has worked extensively with global brands across a wide range of sectors such as
Lexus, E*Trade, NIVEA, Microsoft, Johnson and Johnson, Estee Lauder, Adidas etc.
As Director of Client Strategy and Team Coach for Leading Edge, Sarah plays to her wealth of
experience in facilitating change programmes which engage the whole organisation for high
performance, maximising high performance teams in a complex world and developing authentic
leadership across businesses. The diversity of experience throughout her career has positively
influenced her coaching approach adding another dimension to how she looks to effectively
influence and shape positive relationships within the context of the environment and team culture.
Her experience has allowed her to shape her philosophy toward a flourishing model of coaching
that truly supports people’s holistic development. She is expert in creating environments that
allows individuals, teams and organisations to flourish as they strive to be their best. Supporting
women in leadership to succeed and flourish whether that is in business, sport or life in general
is a core passion area for Sarah. Sarah regularly speaks at events, conferences and facilitates
workshops on these topics.
As part of her role at Leading Edge, Sarah facilitates Women in Leadership roundtable
discussions which provides a great opportunity to to share insights and common challenges. Sarah is proud of her work with Sport England in creating a Women in Coaching movement;
‘Reimagining coaching: where all coaches flourish’.
She is the proud Mum of her nine-year-old boy and loves nothing better that spending hours and
hours playing together. In her ‘free time’, she has renovated an old ruin to set up a Wellness
Centre in the rolling hills of Le Marche, Italy, that offers inspiration on how to live well, flourish
and be your best self.
